The drama series revolves around an "elusive" widow, Natalie Varga (Peaky Blinders star Charlie Murphy), who is accused of murdering her late husband and branded the "Killer Socialite" in the press, threatening to completely upend her life.

The "neo-noir" series stars Agent Carter actor James D’Arcy in the role of James Alden, an investigative journalist who’s enlisted by Natalie in the hope that he’ll be able to clear her name.

Talking about the drama, Murphy recently told RadioTimes.com: "Everything is trial by media these days. It's definitely a commentary on that."

He continued: "Whether she's guilty or innocent, people have made up their minds before she even hits the courtroom, and that has happened time and time again [in the real world]."
